MATT BAKER - managing DIRECTOR
Matt, a multi-skilled Chartered Accountant with over 25 years’ experience in accounting, tax and finance, heads up our Queenstown branch. Matt has worked for several blue chip accounting firms and international banks in NZ, UK and Russia, including KPMG, PWC and Credit Suisse, as well as successfully operating several businesses.
Having advised a number of organisations across a variety of industries, Matt has expertise in the areas of taxation, restructuring, business planning and start-ups, property, strategic planning and succession planning.
Matt has expertise in tax having previously practiced to tax partner level at an international accounting firm. He is an expert in establishing tax effective structures, including both inbound and outbound investment.
Matt holds several independent directorships and trusteeships and is a full member (CA) of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ). Matt is a former Chairman, current Treasurer and Life Member of the Grammar TEC Rugby Club.
ANGELINE WILLOUGHBY - Director
Angeline, who has been with Eclipse Accounting since its beginning in 2011, heads up the Auckland branch of Eclipse Accounting. She is a chartered accountant with over 20 years’ experience in both the corporate and chartered accountancy environment. Over the years she has developed great working relationships with the clients she looks after.
She has worked with a wide range of clients in manufacturing, technology, financial services, trading trusts, property related industries and high net worth individuals. Angeline specialises in Business Advisory Services for predominately small to medium clients.
Angeline is a full member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds a Bachelor of Management Studies degree.
Outside of work, Angeline enjoys spending time with her daughter Adriana, hosting dinner parties for her friends and drinking a good drop of wine with her husband Duncan.
SHARLENE BROOKER - Senior Accountant
Sharlene has been with Eclipse Accounting since December 2014. She is a Chartered Accountant and has many years of experience in Business Services and Taxation, including annual and periodic accounting, income tax, wages, GST and related tax work.
Sharlene is a full member of Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand and holds a Bachelor of Business degree.
Outside of work Sharlene enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
TRACY BEUTH - Senior Accountant
Tracy joined Eclipse Accounting in October 2023. Tracy is a fully qualified Chartered Accountant with over 10 years experience in public practice and commercial roles. She is also holds a board position at Marist College where she heads up the finance sub-committee.
Tracy is a delight to deal with and is really looking forward to assisting her clients’ accounting and tax needs.
She has 3 children and enjoys travelling and spending time with the family at their Cooks Beach bach.
VERONICA THU - Senior Accountant
Veronica joined Eclipse Accounting in July 2020 after taking a break from accounting to have a family. Veronica is a fully qualified chartered accountant trained at BDO.
Outside of work Veronica enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, travelling and walking.
VICTORIA WATTS - OFFICE manager & wellness ceo
Victoria is our Office Manager and Xero certified Bookkeeper, starting with us in May 2019. Victoria has experience in running her own Yoga studio business for a number of years. Victoria provides Bookkeeping services, Companies office service inhouse and to clients and managing all aspects of the EA offices running smoothly. As part of her role, Victoria also provides Yoga and wellness tips and tricks to the staff here on a weekly basis.
Victoria provides this service to some of our clients and more than happy to extend a wellness blend into your business!
